This policy explains how Accurate Surgicals ("Kifzi", "we") collects and uses your personal data when you visit kifzi.com, buy from us or contact us. We process personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules.

What we collect

Contact and delivery details: name, phone number, email address, billing and shipping addresses.
Order details: products bought, amounts, invoices, returns and warranty claims.
Business details you give us for a GST invoice or a quotation: company, hospital or clinic name and GSTIN.
Messages you send us through forms, WhatsApp, email or phone.
Account details if you create an account.
Device and usage data: IP address, browser, pages visited and similar information collected through cookies.

Payments: card, UPI and bank details are entered on our payment provider's secure page. We never see or store your full card or bank details.

Health information: we do not ask for your medical history. If you choose to share health details when asking which product suits you, we use them only to answer your question.

To process, deliver and support your orders, including returns, refunds and warranty claims

To prevent fraud and keep the website secure

Who we share it with

We share only what each party needs to do its job:

Shopify, which hosts our store
Our payment gateway, to process payments
Courier partners, to deliver your order
Brands and their authorised service centres, when you raise a warranty claim
Email, SMS and WhatsApp service providers, to send you order updates
Government authorities, when the law requires it

We do not sell your personal data.

Storage outside India

Our store platform and some service providers may store data on servers outside India. We use providers that protect data with appropriate security measures, and transfers are made only as permitted under Indian law.

How long we keep it

We keep order and invoice records for as long as Indian tax and accounting laws require. We keep other data only while you have an account with us or as long as needed for the purposes above, and then delete it.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can:

Ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it
Ask us to correct, complete or update your data
Ask us to delete your data, unless we must keep it by law, for example invoices
Withdraw consent for marketing or any other purpose based on consent
Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in case of death or incapacity
Raise a grievance with us, and if you are not satisfied, with the Data Protection Board of India

Cookies

We use cookies to keep your cart and login working, remember your preferences and understand how the website is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the website such as the cart may then stop working.

Children

Our website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 without the consent of a parent or guardian.

Security

We use secure (HTTPS) connections, a PCI-compliant payment provider and access controls on our systems. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and the authorities of a breach as the law requires.
